t is as we are connected up with this Life that we are refreshed, healed and empowered to live victorious lives. There are many significant avenues to help accomplish this end. One avenue that we find especially effective is through connecting with others in deep, honest and open relationships. It is within this context of close emotional, spiritual and social proximity that we are able to do what the Apostle Paul described in his letter to the Ephesians when he said, “From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” Ephesians 4:16, NIV.

Jesus has provided those around us to help us get healed and grow. Our Homegroups are a dynamic place to see this principle in action. They provide the opportunity to develop relationships, apply Biblical life truths, and support one another in prayer, worship and discipleship. We don't just study the Bible at our Homegroups, but in addition, they are places where we can apply Bible truths in our lives and relationships, with the support and encouragement of those around us.

We have found that there is no greater way to grow in relationships with God and others, than through the fertile ground found in the Homegroup environment.

Valley Life Center's Homegroups meet every other week rather than every week for a number of reasons. We have found that the most effective Homegroup interaction is what takes place throughout the week. Meeting every other week affords the opportunity for people to get together in informal times of relationship building, as well as freeing time up for special meetings or events. Homegroups meet on various days throughout the week. Maps to all our Homegroups are available on the resource table, located in the back of the Sanctuary.

If you haven't joined a Homegroup yet, we invite you to visit a few different meetings in the coming weeks and find one that is a fit for you.
